(her). A mad old lady who lived 2 streets away (from 4 Privet Dr). Harry hated it
there. The whole house smelled of cabbage and (she) made (Harry) look at
photographs of all the cats she'd ever owned." Harry couldn't stay this year
because she'd broken her leg.
- Book 1, Ch3 - Dudley knocked her down on his bike when she was crossing Privet
Dr on her crutches after breaking her leg. Harry stayed with her in July when the
Dursley's went to buy Dudley's new Smeltings uniform. "She'd broken her leg
tripping over one of her cats and she didn't seem quite as fond of them as before.
She let Harry watch tv and gave him a bit of chocolate cake that tasted as though
she'd had it for several years."
