Book 1, Pg 136 - "Now, I want a nice fair game, all of you," M Hooch said... Harry noticed that she seemed to be speaking particularily to the Slytherin captain, Marcus Flint, a 5th year. Harry thought Flint looked as if he had some troll blood in him.
Slytherin have taken the Quaffle, Slytherin captain Marcus Flint gains the Quaffle and off he goes - Flint flying like an eagle up there - he's going to sc - no, stopped by Wood
Book 1, Pg 138-141 - Marcus Flint had blocked Harry on purpose... Madame Hooch spoke angrily to Flint...
Slytherin in possession - Flint with the Quaffle - passes Spinnet - passes Bell - hit hard in the face by a Bludger, hope it broke his nose ... Slytherin score...
...Harry's broom goes out of control...
Marcus Flint seized the Quaffle and scored 5 times without anyone noticing.
"He didn't catch it, he nearly swallowed it," Flint was still howling 20 minutes later...
Book 2, Pg 85-86 - "Flint!" Wood bellowed at the Slytherin captain. "This is our practise time! We got up specially! You can clear off now!"
Marcus Flint was even larger than Wood. He had a look of trollish cunning on his face as he replied, "Plenty of room for all of us, Wood."
"But I booked the pitch!" said Wood. "I booked it!"
"Ah," said Flint. "but I've got a specially signed note here from Profesor Snape. I, Professor S. Snape, give the Slytherin team permission to practise today on the Quidditch pitch, owing to the need to train their new Seeker."
"Funny you should mention Draco's father," said Fint, as the whole Slytherin team smiled still more broadly. "Let me show you the generous gift he's made to the Slytherin team." they show the Nimbus 2001's "Very latest model. Only came out last month," said Flint carelessly, flicking a speck of dust from the end of his own. "I believe it outstrips the old 2000 series by a considerable amount. As for the old Cleansweeps," he smiled nastily at Fred and George, who were both clutching Cleensweep Fives, "sweeps the board with them."
"Oh, look," said Flint. "A pitch invasion." Ron and Hermione arrive, Malfoy insults Hermione...
Flint had to dive in front of Malfoy to stop Fred and George jumping on him...
Ron's wand backfires on him...
The Slytherin team was paralysed with laughter. Flint was doubled up, hanging on to his new broomstick for support.
Book 2, Pg 126 - Madame Hooch... asked Flint and Wood to shake hands, which they did, giving each other threatening stares and gripping rather harder than was necessary.
Book 2, Pg 132 - "I've just seen Marcus Flint yelling at Malfoy," said George. "Something about having the Snitch on top of his head and not noticing. Malfoy didn't seem too happy."
Book 3, Pg 126 - "We're not playing Slytherin!" Wood told them, looking very angry. "Flint's just been to see me. We're playing Hufflepuff instead." ... "Flint's excuse is that their Seeker's arm's still injured... But it's obvious why they're doing it. Don't want to play in the weather. Think it'll damage their chances..."
Book 3, Pgs 194-195 - Lying in a crumpled heap on the ground were Malfoy, Crabbe, Goyle and Marcus Flint, the Slytherin team captain, all struggling to remove themselves from long, black, hooded robes. McGonagall gives them all detention.
Book 3, Pgs 225-227 - Flint and Wood approached each other and grasped each other's hands very tightly; it looked as though each was trying to break the other's fingers...
Angelina scores... Angelina was nearly thrown from her broom as Marcus Flint went smashing into her. "Sorry," said Flint, as the crowd below booed. "Sorry, didn't see her!"
Next moment, Fred Weasley had chucked his Beater's club at the back of Flint's head. Flint's nose smashed into the handle of his broom and began to bleed.
...Madame Hooch gives both teams penalties...
...Flint, still bleeding freely, (flew) forwards to take the Slytherin penalty... Wood saves it...
Johnson takes the Quaffle - Flint alongside her ... Flint in possession, Flint flying towards the Gryffindor goalposts... Flint had scored...
