CELEBRITY lookalike photographer Alison Jackson, who took the "alternative" wedding photographs of Camilla Parker Bowles, has another intriguing spoof TV project. She is currently hard at work directing a film for Channel 4, entitled Tony Blair Rock Star, about the PM's early years, including his Oxford University band Ugly Rumours. "It's a drama documentary and Alison is directing the drama part," a spokesman for Channel 4 said. "It will probably air later this year (2005) or early next." Whether we're going to hear any of the original compositions from the Rumours, who recently turned down overtures from Bob Geldof to reform at Live8, remains to be seen.
Tony Blair is played by Christian Brassington. I play his girlfriend in several scenes set at a student party.
Tony Blair Rock Star was shown on Channel 4 on the 19th January 2006.

Tony Blair's teenage past as an aspiring rock star is the subject of a new Channel 4 comedy docu-drama, part of the broadcaster's winter season of programmes.
Programme makers have spoken to former school friends and teachers for Tony Blair Rock Star.
Satirical reconstructions of the young Blair portray him in the outrageous clothing of a wannabe rock icon. In one scene, the long-haired Blair, played out by actor Christian Brassington, wears white leather lace-up trousers and a ruffled-collar shirt and in another the teenage Blair opens his three-quarter length sheepskin coat to reveal his 1970s-style Y-fronts.
The comedy will feature previously unseen photos of Blair as a "wannabe rock phenomenon".
A Channel 4 spokesman said: "Based on interviews with people close to Blair as a young man, this one-hour film tells the true story of a frustrated rock star whose alternative career path led to the House of Commons.
"Tony Blair Rock Star charts his journey from naughty public schoolboy to lead singer of Oxford University band Ugly Rumours."
The film portrays Blair as a fame-obsessed student who had no interest in politics but forever craved the limelight.
Channel 4's head of documentaries Danny Cohen said: "Tony Blair Rock Star uncovers a hidden but hugely revealing chapter in the Blair story, and at the same time provides rich ground for a gentle ribbing of the PM's teenage ambitions.
The programme begins at his last term of school and ends during his first year of Oxford but its focus is on the young Blair's gap year in London when he wanted to be a singer.
